~These fees include two rounds of revisions, specificallyminor changes to the written documents. However, if major changes, such as a new direction, another interview subject, etc. is needed, that will not be considered a minor revision and my hourly rate will apply.
~I will do everything to avoid billing surprises by fleshing out as much as possible about a project beforehand. Clients will be notified as soon as possible of any anticipated cost overruns.
~An initial deposit of one-third of the agreed, contracted amount is due for all new clients. In the case of projects under $300, payment in full is due before work will begin.
Reliable and Efficient
My experience as a reporter instilled a deep respect for the tightest deadline. I am a skilled interviewer – adept at getting to the heart of a topic, and uncovering a story from the most difficult of interview subjects. I do my homework and my interviews make compelling copy. Ask me about customer success stories or white papers that will help your organization get more press or increase sales.
Need Media Attention?
If you want an attention-getting news angle for your press announcements, we can discuss a variety of effective message formats. I can write a straight-forward press release, a brief news story-style press announcement, or strategize a comprehensive contributed articles program. I’ve worked in the PR departments at Sun Microsystems, Cisco Systems, and AT&T, and I will bring my experience with those top companies to the table to help turn your company into a top performer, too.
Jargon Translation My Specialty
I am a skillful translator. Are your manuals and annual reports too stodgy and dull? I can craft a makeover that infuses them with interesting, simple and elegant prose. Having spent over 16 years in Silicon Valley and in medical journalism, I can take the most jargon-laden text and turn it into charming, consumer-friendly copy.
